We Can’t Settle for Satisfied Customers

Posted on Categories Book Review

When you walk into a store, would it be fair to say you expect the customer service to just be okay? Although we’d love to be blown away with every customer service experience, most establishments just don’t invest their time and energy into giving their best service.

They do enough to get by, but don’t really mind if you don’t enjoy yourself. It may be an easier and cheaper way to attend to customers, but you don’t get Raving Fans by doing the bare minimum.

Here are ten resolutions to make when you awake in the morning.

They are Just for One Day. Think of them not as a life task but as a day’s work.

This is how a man can make it through the Holocaust alive and in good health, both mind and body. This is how a poor child can make it out of the situation and create Starbucks. They weren’t given those things but they made a choice, I will not let my circumstance determine my mindset.

“The Essence of Success” by Earl Nightingale

Posted on Categories Book Review

Earl Nightingale may be my favorite new author. He has a way of explaining so quickly and intelligently that you begin to immediately understand the thought process or theory. One of the big things I’ve taken from this book so far is integrity. He has found that to be successful people in any industry are that way because they handle themselves with integrity. Doing what you say and acting in other’s best interest is always going to lead you to the success you desire.  It’s also gotten me really fired up about goals. A man without goals is a man without excitement or desire. Continue reading ““The Essence of Success” by Earl Nightingale”

I will waste not a moment mourning yesterday’s misfortunes, yesterday’s defeats, yesterday’s aches of the heart, for why should I throw good after bad? Continue reading “5/9/2017 ENGAGE Workbook”
