The thinking behind this scroll changed my life forever. IF everyone on earth could learn to think this way, we’d be an incredible planet. The main premise is to greet each person you meet with love.
While they may have a scowl on their face, someone in there is something that could be loved. I use to get so nervous for meetings, especially with big wigs and now I stroll without a care in the world. Why? Because I truly love that person and I’m excited to meet with them. When you love someone, you can put up a shield of love and realize that nothing they say or do can hurt you because you love them no matter their actions. This scroll also teaches us to love everything.
“I will love the sun for it warms my bones; yet I will love the rain for it cleanses my spirit. I will love the light for it shows me the way; yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars. I will welcome happiness for it enlarges my heart; yet I will endure sadness for it opens my soul. I will acknowledge rewards for they are my due; yet I will welcome obstacles for they are my challenge.”
Wow, if we could simply love everything that comes into our lives, we’d be far better for it. When someone does you wrong, love it! That’s right, love it! It has been put in front of you for a reason and you should love the challenge of it. Love all things and everything will change for you. Love all people and everything will change for you. Most of all we should love ourselves. We are unique amazing creatures and if we can’t love ourselves, who will?
“ And most of all I will love myself. For when I do I will zealously inspect all things which enter my body, my mind, my soul, and my heart. Never will I overindulge the requests of my flesh; rather I will cherish my body with cleanliness and moderation.”
Love yourself, love thy neighbor and your life will be fruitful. Not only that but you will build incredible relationships with mutual admiration. Great this day with love!
